Lori Heffelfinger, Principal |
A Leadership and Organizational Development Leader for over two decades, Lori Heffelfinger has been instrumental in helping individuals and organizations get to the heart of issues that impact productivity, relationships, and the bottom line. She has extensive experience working directly for Fortune 100 companies in leadership assessment and development, designing, and implementing talent management, succession planning, and performance management and leadership development processes, as well business redesign, business integration and change activities.
Prior to founding the Heffelfinger Company, a managerial consultancy, in 2003, Lori led Organizational Effectiveness at Raytheon’s $8B Electronic Systems business and was a Director of Organization & Management Development at Allied Signal. She has also held line Human Resource leadership roles across the U.S. at Allied Signal (Honeywell), Ashland Chemical, and Monsanto.
In addition to her corporate positions, Lori has held adjunct faculty positions in the business schools of Pepperdine University and California State University Fullerton, and has presented and facilitated training for other coaches and consultants.
Lori holds a MS in Organizational Development from Pepperdine University and a BS in Business Administration from the University Nebraska as well as certificates in Coaching and Organization & Systems Development from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.

Donna Colombel - is an associate of The Heffelfinger Company and president of Coldon & Associates, Inc. in the Baltimore, Maryland area. With over 30 years experience as a consultant, coach, trainer and leader she has successfully worked with executives, managers and staff on three continents. Her practice has focused extensively on helping individuals and organizations clarify what they want, look more expansively at possible strategies and then work more effectively to achieve the desired results.
Several of the organizations where Donna has provided coaching for senior executives and managers include, Educational Testing Services, New York Times Special Service Center, Telcordia Technologies and Northrop Grumman. Often using 360 feedback instruments, she has helped executives understand and use their feedback to make changes that result in improved relationships, enhanced capacity to build collaborative and productive teams, and better understand their role in making sustainable change.
In her organizational development consulting practice Donna has facilitated senior teams through strategic planning and conflict resolution, coached executives facing management challenges which require strong influence skills or moving into new leadership roles. She has supported executives in building on their success to make needed changes that keep them competitive and leaders in their industry and worked with managers to design change management processes and improve efficiencies. She is frequently called on to work with identified high potential managers and successfully assists them in preparing for future increased responsibilities.

Robin Kramer – is the Virtual Office Manager for The Heffelfinger Company in the Chicago area. She manages the back office operations of our organization. When you talk to Robin and you’ll find her extremely efficient, friendly, funny and very bright. Robin owns her own business with clients all over the United States. She has a BA in Education, certification as a paralegal and has worked in Human Resources. Robin is a member of the following organizations: International Virtual Assistant’s Association,, Assist U graduate, and International Virtual Women’s Chamber of Commerce

Sophie Parker - is an associate of The Heffelfinger Company in Boston. Sophie Parker is an executive coach and organizational development consultant specializing in organizational assessment and change management. Her work with individuals and organizations focuses on building on strengths to support real change. She has a coaching practice with managers and executives in corporate, government, and Non-Profit organizations.
Her background in theatre gives her the sensitivity, humor, and creativity necessary to work comfortably with diverse people and organizations. Ms. Parker has extensive experience training groups in conflict management, leadership development, and building communication skills.
Training and certification as a coach, creativity consultant, facilitator, and mediator includes: Barry Oshry’s Organization Workshop, The Birkman® Method Assessment, Gestalt Organization and Systems Development International Program (OSDI), Myers-Briggs Type Indicator ® (MBTI), and the Harvard Mediation Program.

Deborah Ranier, JD, MSOD - is an associate of The Heffelfinger Company and president of Ranier Consulting in the Los Angeles area. Deborah has distinctive competencies which include a blend of 15 years of corporate management experience in VP/SVP functional leadership roles (HR/LR, Communications, Marketing,), as well as internal and external consultancy roles. She has served as a top executive and consultant in a wide range of organizations creating and managing change. She has held leadership roles and consulted on change projects in multiple industries including aerospace, high-tech manufacturing, finance, food processing, quick service retail franchising, property management, healthcare and public services. She has coached and counseled senior executives, and led cultural change and system mergers. She has a depth of experience providing organization development support to line and staff functions such as finance, research and development, marketing, sales, operations and manufacturing.
In her current consulting practice in public, private and nonprofit organizations, Deborah has facilitated senior teams through strategic planning and conflict resolution, coached executives facing management challenges or moving into new leadership roles, and designed change management processes for organizations. Her personal experience in growing up in a family owned manufacturing business provides a foundation for her values and approach to integrating business and human issues. Her deep experience leading change efforts informs her choice of strategy and approach to interventions with her clients and their organizations.
Her work in executive coaching is based in gestalt methodology. Starting at the level of the individual executive leader, she works with the executive’s perception of the situation, their unique background, and their vision of their leadership role and their organization. Working with data from the organization, the executive, and the coaching sessions, she supports the executive in restructuring how they see themselves and their organization, how they define what they want to achieve, and how to plan, implement, and sustain the desired growth and change.

Tracy Saunders, ACC, MA - is an associate of The Heffelfinger Company and owner of Intruequest, an organizational consulting practice in the Washington DC area. Tracy’s strengths include simultaneously supporting and challenging her clients, building upon their strengths while pursuing issues that may be limiting her clients’ ability to have everything they want professionally and personally. Her coaching practice encompasses corporate executives, financial and technology leaders, mid-level directors and managers and small business owners. Tracy is an Associate Certified Coach through ICF (International Coaches Federation)
After over twenty-five years working with Fortune 50’s, Tracy is highly-regarded for helping companies and individuals access new potential, improve performance and achieve desired results. In addition to coaching, she also provides consulting across a range of organizational needs such as large scale/strategic organizational and culture change, organization alignment, leadership development, group process and conflict dynamics, and technology adoption. Patsy Ziegler - is an associate of The Heffelfinger Company and Principal of Human Capital Solutions, LLC, a management consulting firm in the Los Angeles area. Patsy provides organization development, executive coaching and talent management services to a variety of global and local client companies.
Patsy enjoys a reputation with senior executives as someone who is pragmatic, resourceful and gets things done. Her ability to think systemically is the foundation for her “real world” assessment of business requirements and people implications. Previous experience in executive roles also allows her to quickly understand the pressures facing leaders in today’s business environment.
Prior to starting her own consulting/coaching business, Patsy held global Executive roles at Allied Signal (Honeywell), GE, and Northern Telecom (Nortel) where she was a recognized leader in executive staffing and development, organization development and change management. She was widely sought after by many leaders for mentoring. She also worked as a TQM consultant at Rath & Strong (AON) and as a VP for a Silicon Valley telecom start-up.
